Box Stock Rules

Body

1) Body must be an OEM / Production body from any time period.
2) Body must be complete.
3) Chassis mounts must be in their stock positions.
4) Windshields must be original.
5) Bodies may not be shaved (lightened).
6) No weight may be added to the body.
7) Body may be painted any style.
8) A Number would be nice. But not required.

Chassis

Legal chassis are: Super G, Turbo, Tyco/Mattel, Life Like M
1) No chassis modifications shall be allowed.
2) Parts may not be Swapped from Brand to Brand.
3) You may only run stock pick-up shoes.
4) You may only use stock guide pins. No modifications allowed.
5) You may not weight or add anything to the pick-up shoes.
6) You may only run stock pick-up springs.
7) The Armature must be stock for the chassis it is being run in and
cannot be modified in any way. NO rewinding, dewinding, polishing or
truing of commutator, gluing or balancing in any way, or other tampering
of the motor will be allowed. Commutator may be cleaned, but not sanded.
8) You may only run stock motor brushes.
9) You can only run the stock traction/motor magnets in their stock
positions.
    Magnets may not be shimmed or relocated.
10) No car is allowed to run bearings of any type.
11) You can only run the stock (7/25)  OEM Gear sets.
12) You may only run stock Axles.  No spacers or shimmed allowed.
      Front cannot be the independent axle.
13) Axles must be run in their stock positions.
14) You may only run stock rear and front rims. (Except Super G+
may substitute with the AFX Turbo rims.
15) You may only run stock front tires.
16) You may run replacement silicone rear slip on tires. (you may not run
Sponge tires)
17) 4 tires, 2 pick-ups and 1 guide-pin are all that may and must touch
the track.
